They have a cup of coffee in the morning to wake themselves up and a cup of tea in the afternoon to improve their health. Scientists are constantly exploring the effects of coffee and tea on human health. Recently, a research team from  Wuhan University  of Science and Technology announced a study at the annual meeting of the  European Association  for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), which showed that moderate consumption of  black tea ,  green tea , or  oolong tea  can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. Over an average of 10 years, the study found that drinking ≥4 cups of tea per day can reduce the risk of diabetes by 17%.
